Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment & Sustainable Development Garhwal Unit, Upper Bhaktiyana, Srinagar (Garhwal) - 246 174, Uttarakhand Walk in Interview Applications are invited for purely project based temporary positions (for three years ) under In-house project entitledReinventing pilgrimage potential for tourism development in the sacred landscape of Garhwal Himalaya''. Candidates having appropriate qualifications in relevant subject/specialization with consistently good academic record and experience may apply.

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Junior Project Fellow (JPF) (02) @ Rs. 16,000 + H.R.A (For non NET qualified) & @ Rs. 25000 +H.R.A (for NET qualified)

1. One post for post Graduate with first class in Botany/ forestry /Environmental Science.
2. One post for post Graduate with first class in (Anthropology/

Sociology/MSW /Tourism

Preference will be given to the candidates having experience of working in carrying capacity assessment of pilgrimage, eco-tourism /nature tourism in the Himalayan mountains. Working knowledge of computer is desirable.

Project Assistant (02) (Rs. 10,000/- fixed)

Graduate in any discipline

Candidates familiar with local culture/dialect with basic knowledge of computer/ habit of trekking on the hill terrain will be given preference.

Age Limit: 28 years (for JRF/JPF) and 35 years (for Project Assistant); Relaxation for SC/ ST/ Women/PH and OBC as per Govt.of India norms.
