NOTIFICATION

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up of two posts of Junior Research Fellow on Contract basis for DST Project entitled Adolescent (ACoAs): assessment of cognitive functions, salivary stress biomarkers, gender based experiences and responses to their fathers alcohol dependence.under Dr.Prasanthi Nattala, Assoc. Professor of Nursing & Principal Investigator.

Qualification

Masters degree/M.Phil/Ph.D in Humanities and social sciences. Experiences in field level research are desirable.

Rs,25,000/- + 30% HRA PM

Duration of the post

3 years.

Initial appointment will be of a period of one year which will be extended on renewal basis depending on satisfactory performance of the candidate.

Essential Requirements

1. The study primarily involves conducting interviews for children/adolescents in the age group of 10-19 years, whose fathers are heavy alcohol users. Candidates will be required to carry out these interviews in selected urban and rural communities of Bengaluru.
2. Candidates should be able to speak, read and write in both English and Kannada languages, good communication skills are essential.
