WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

The Walk-in-Interview for the positions of Research Associate/ Senior Research Fellow/Junior Research Fellow/ Research Assistant/Project Assistant-II and Field Assistant in below mentioned project/scheme will be conducted at this Institute on the date/time and venue and other details shown against positions on contractual basis, which is co-terminus with the project/scheme. The eligible candidates are invited to appear before the Selection Committee for Walk-in-Interview at NDRI, Karnal.

2. ICSSR Research Project Urban and Peri-Urban Dairies among marginalized dairy holders and its effect on society under Dr. Gopal Sankhala, PS & PD, Dairy Extension Division, NDRI, Karnal. 3. CSIR Research Project Kappaphygus alvarezii and red sea weed based formulations for improving productivity of dairy animals and poultry (Sub component: To study the effect of Kappaphygus alvarezii based feed additives on production and health of dairy animals) under Dr. Chander Datt, PS & PI, DCN Division, NDRI, Karnal.	Project Assistant- II 01 (One) Rs. 25,000/- Per Month Plus HRA	Upto 31-03-2019	DCN Division, NDRI, Karnal on 03-06-2017 at 10:00 A.M	Essential Qualification: M.V.Sc/M.Sc degree in any one of the disciplines/subject Animal Nutrition /Animal Physiology/ Genetics and Breeding/Livestock Production and Management/Animal Biochemistry/ Animal Biotechnology/ Animal Husbandry and Dairying/ Animal Sciences with 4 years/5 years of Bachelors degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelors degree and 2 years Masters degree should have NET qualification. Desirable Qualification: Preference will be given to candidates having research experience in area of ruminant nutrition with knowledge of related analytical techniques and evidence from publications.
4. ICAR Research Project Agri-CRP on Water Budgeting and improving water productivity livestock based Farming System Dr. Ashutosh, PS & PI, DCP Division, NDRI, Karnal.	SRF 01(One) Rs. 25000/- per month + HRA for 1st and 2nd year, Rs. 28,000/- per month for 3rd year.	Upto September, 2017 and likely to be continued till March, 2020	DCP Division, NDRI, Karnal. On 06-06-2017 at 10:00 A.M	Essential Qualification: Master degree in any one disciplines /subject Environmental Science, Dairy Chemistry, and Food Technology with 4 years/5 years of Bachelors degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelors degree and 2 years Masters degree should have NET qualification. Desirable: Experience/working knowledge in Livestock experimentation /conducting trails on waste water purification and at least one year experience in waste water management and water chemistry. Quite good knowledge of English language, word processing, internet searching and data analysis etc.
5. NASF Research Project Elucidating the mechanism of Pashmina fiber development: An OMICS approach under Dr. J.K. Kaushik, PS & PI, ABTC, NDRI, Karnal.	RA 01(One) Rs. 40000/- per month + HRA as applicable for Ph. D and Rs. 38000/- per month + HRA as applicable for Master Degree with 2 years experience	Upto 30-06- 2018;	ABTC, NDRI, Karnal On 08-06-2017 at 10:00 A.M	Essential Qualification: Ph.D degree in Biotechnology/Biochemistry and research experience in the field of Proteomics/Protein Chemistry and Molecular Biology/Structural Biology/ Bioinformatics supported by Ph.D thesis work or research papers. OR First class master degree in Biotechnology/Biochemistry with 4years/5 years of Bachelors degree having 1st division or 60% marks with at least two years of research experience in the area of Proteomics/Protein Chemistry AND Molecular Biology/Structural Biology /Bioinformatics. Desirable: Working experience with software in the area of Proteomics, Network analysis, Structural Bioinformatics and Linux OS
6. DBT Research Project Deciphering the circulating miRNAs from terminal stage pre-implantation embryos and placentomes for early detection of pregnancy in buffalo under Dr. T.K. Datta, PS & PI, ABTC, NDRI, Karnal.	JRF 01(One) Rs. 25000/- per month + HRA	Upto 31st July, 2019	ABTC NDRI, Karnal on 12-06-2017 at 10:00 A.M	Essential Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science with NET qualification or Graduate Degree in Professional Course with NET qualification or Post Graduate in Professional Course. Desirable: Candidates having good knowledge in Molecular Biology Techniques. Preference will be given to candidates having research experience of working in any established laboratory

Age Limit:

40 year for Men and 45 years for Women in case of RA on the date of Interview. 35 year for Men and 40 years for Women in case of SRF on the date of Interview. 30 year for Men and 35 years for Women in case of JRF on the date of Interview.

35 year for Men and 40 years for Women in case of Project Assistant-II on the date of Interview. 40 years on the date of Interview for Research Assistant.

35 year for Men and 40 years for Women in case of Field Assistant on the date of Interview.

The above positions are purely temporary and will be filled in on Contractual basis. The selected candidate shall have no right/claim for regular appointment at this Institute, as the engagement is co-terminus with the Project/Scheme. Interested candidates may attend Walk-in-Interview on the dates as indicated against each project/scheme alongwith original certificates and typed bio-data with one set of attested copies of each their certificates with passport size photograph. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

All eligible candidates are advised to be present at least 30 minutes before scheduled time on the date of interview for completing necessary formalities. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidates.
