Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), a Government owned company, at par with Schedule A Central PSUs, has been set up for implementation and operation of rail-based Mass Rapid Transit System in Delhi. The company intends to appoint following official:

Job Description and Responsibilities

The incumbent of the above post shall be member of the Board of Directors of DMRC and will report to the Managing Director of the company.

Emoluments PAY SCALE :75000/- to 100000/- (IDA) including the other allowances/perks/privileges applicable to the Directors of Schedule A Central PSUs.

The age of superannuation of a Director in DMRC is 62 years.

Eligibility Criteria :

• a. The incumbent should have a Degree in Civil Engineering from an institution of repute
• along with good academic record and proven track record.
• b. Should have minimum of five (5) years experience in handling multi-disciplinary engineering projects preferably in urban situations including services in land acquisition and rehabilitation of project affected persons.
• c. Should have extensive experience in preparing tender documents, selection of Contractors and Project Management of important engineering structures such as Bridges/Tunnels from Domestic and International Vendors as a team leader.
• d. Should have experience and knowledge of inter-facing with Railway related disciplines such as Track Laying Works, Signaling, Electrification and Rolling Stock, etc.
• e. Should have experience of all phases of rail based urban transportation projects, on international bidding contracts basis, i.e., Planning, Bid Documents, Bidding, Execution, Commissioning, post Commissioning, etc. Experience in handling Consultancy Works and Land Monetization will be preferred.
• f. Should have experience and knowledge of complying with project related requirements of international funding institutions.
• 
  Desirable Experience in underground/elevated constructions of Metro Projects.

(III) Pay Scale (to be reckoned as on 01/02/17)

Public Sector Executive should be holding post in the pay scale of Rs. 51300-73000 (IDA) or should be working in the SA grade (with grade pay of Rs.10000 in Pay Band 4 of CDA grade of Rs. 37400-67000 (Pre-revised). The minimum length of service required in the eligible scale will be two years as on date of vacancy.

Duration of Appointment

The appointment to this post will be on contract basis presently for a period of 5 years or date of superannuation, whichever is earlier. However the tenure of the post may be extended further.

Job Requirement Details :-

He shall be responsible for the overall planning for the project including design and architecture, tendering, contracting and overall project administration, supervision of construction and commissioning, etc. He will also be responsible for project monitoring, quality assurance and safety, cost control, land acquisition, rehabilitation of project affected persons/business, utility and traffic diversions, etc. Candidates presently employed in Govt. or Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) should forward their application through proper channel along with their ACR/APARs for the last five years, so as to reach at the under mentioned address by the stipulated date.
