The incumbents will be responsible for Administration of National Gallery of Modern Art and planning and implementation of all technical and academic programmes of the museum. He will also organize and implement special exhibition programmes/ Cultural Exchange Programmes and joint exhibitions with other countries besides the regular display of art works in the galleries. He will also look after the conservation laboratory and restoration work, art storage, digitization programmes etc. He will also be responsible for implementing the publication programme, functioning of the library and organizing academic courses on art and appreciation under formal and non-formal stream.
