At present pay levels, the remuneration works out approximately to Rs.89,546/- at the minimum of the scale besides admissible work related perks/allowances. for appointment on contract basis: During training: Rs. 57,500/- On commencing berthing/ dredging pending grant of Pilot licence: Rs.86,250/- After licence as Pilot- on commencing berthing/dredging: Rs.1,03,500/- Pilotage of vessels Upto 10,000 GRT: Rs.1,15,000/- Pilotage of vessels of 10,000 – 15,000 GRT: Rs.1,26,500/- Pilotage of vessels of 15,000 – 20,000 GRT: Rs.1,48,000/- Full tonnage except suez max tankers: Rs.1,66,500/- Unrestricted tonnage including suez max tankers: Rs.1,72,500/-.
