Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities: Overall planning and execution of project within defined time and budget- this includes among other things, project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting, setting up SOPs and control systems, providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. Lead value engineering efforts to optimize costs and schedule Review project progress at site, implement project acceleration techniques, identify and mitigate risks Hold regular review meetings, preparing regular MIS Reports, lead meetings with PMC and other project agencies on site Tendering, quantity surveying, certification, and approval of vendors’ and service providers’ invoices. Work with the Architects to the Project, major and minor construction firms, vendors and suppliers of goods and services to expedite deliverables Liaise with Government, statutory and regulatory and other local authorities as required Compliance to Health, Safety standards applicable. Will also work very closely with Internal: President-Infrastructure, Campus Director, Campus User Council, Project Engineers External: Architects, construction firms, vendors and suppliers, statutory and regulatory authorities. Reporting to President-Infrastructure and Campus Director. Job Type Fixed Term-3 years, extendable on mutual consent.
