Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities: To provide comprehensive Medical and Health services to employees, families, students and guests by providing proper treatment with Medicines, Investigations, Specialist Opinion, Periodical Medical/Health Checkups, Health awareness programs etc & comply with the statutes as applicable. 1. Provide appropriate out- patient & in- patient medical care in time. Cater to the immediate medical requirements of the employees and their families, students, guests based on clinical and professional standards. Also, ensure proper maintenance and updation of health records. Examination of patients Prescribing the Medicines & Investigations Follow up Liasioning with the concerned/specialist for referral cases wherever applicable in consultation/co-ordination with CMO. 2. Handling of Medical Emergencies Ensure availability based on need for handling emergency medical situations along with other Medical Officers and ensuring safety and security of patients/guests on a 24X7 basis. Follow up Liasioning with the concerned/specialist for referral cases wherever applicable in consultation/co-ordination with CMO. 3. To keep abreast of new developments, skills, technology, and current literature in order to initiate and respond to changes in technology and the work environment 4. Comply with all the relevant acts, rules and regulations of the Institute and government orders that may be in force from time to time and their implementation. Ensure Pre-employment health checkups for all new joinees as per Institute norms Ensure Health Checkups for students as per Institute norms Compliance to Bio-medical waste disposable standards Compliance to applicable norms for X-Ray Compliance to Institute Medical Policy Identify Occupational Health Risks and ensure mitigation by periodical checks etc,. 5. Participate in periodical progress review meetings of the Medical Centre and contribute actively for the development & process improvements. 6. Support CMO on Administrative matters as assigned from time to time like Conduct of Medical Camps, Ensuring stock of Medicines, Maintenance of Pathology Lab, Maintenance & Upkeep of Medical Records etc,.
