Objective: Objective Should have knowledge of Information & Communication Technologies (ICT). Should have knowledge on the specification of the hardware and software for creation of IT & Communication Infrastructure, involving use of various technologies, data storage, application server, web server etc. Knowledge of implementation of projects would be desirable. Scope Of Work: Responsible for coordination in consultation with Project Coordinator with MHA, NDRF, States/UTs, DOT/BSNL/MTNL, NIC, ISRO and other related agencies in connection with the implementation of the Pilot Project National Disaster Management Services (NDMS). Assist Project Coordinator in preparation of specifications of subsystems/components needed for establishment of Emergency Operation Center (EOC) at National, State and District levels for NDMS Project. Assist Project Coordinator in Initiation of any other Project for integration with NDMS Project. Assist Software Engineer in development of applications for android and other apps for use in Disaster Management. Any other work to be assigned as per requirement by NDMA. Contract Period: Initially for One (1) Year The NDMA can terminate the contract at any time by giving one month’s notice or the incumbent can also resign from the assignment by giving one month’s notice to NDMA.
