Selection Procedure i) Selection of the candidates for contractual engagement as Medical Officers will be done through a Walk-in-interview. ii) Interested and eligible candidates having the requisite qualification can walk-in for selection interview on 04.12.2018 at Ispat Bhawan, ASP. iii) The ex-employees of SAIL and other PSUs/Govt. who have been separated by opting voluntary retirement/voluntary separation shall not be considered. iv) Engagement as Medical Officers will start immediately after the selection of the candidate is completed and orders are issued for engagement as Medical Officers. v) Candidates responding to the advertisement for “Engagement of Contractual Doctors in PMU, ASP will have to submit an undertaking (Annexure-A) to the above effect. Duration of Engagement Engagement would be on contractual basis for upto three (3) years from the date of joining. The same may be extended for a period upto one (1) year, subject to mutually agreeable terms and conditions. However, the maximum period for engagement under the same contract would not be more than four years or upto 70 years of age whichever is earlier. There will be no bar on subsequent reengagement, subject to the upper age limit of 70 years.
