Q.1 Answer the following: 14
Draw chemical structure of TMS. Give any four reasons for using TMS as a
reference standard in NMR.
Define the terms bathochromic shift and hypsochromic shift.
State the rule for selection of target material for laboratory production of
X-rays.
List any four applications of SEM technique for polymer analysis.
List two advantages and two limitations of Pyrolysis GC-MC technique for
polymer analysis.
Calculate the wave number for IR radiation whose wavelength is 5
Write down Braggs equation and explain the various terms involved in it.
