3. What is the difference between superannuation pension and retiring pension

(b)The date of birth of a government servant is 1st August, 1955. He joined the govt. service on 1st August, 1974. On which date, he will retire at the age of Sixty years? What will be the qualifying service for the calculation of pension?

(c)What is the maximum amount of pension that can be commuted and after how many years, it is restored?

(d)Minimum how much qualifying service is required for eligibility of pension. After how much service, full pension is admissible with the implementation of 6th Pay Commission Report. Give the formula for calculation of gratuity.


4. A journey planned for official purpose is cancelled in public interest. Is the amount
of cancellation charges, deducted on the refund of ticket, reimbursable or not? If
yes, then from which standard object its payment will be made?
What is the maximum period up to which the T.A. bill can be submitted for a
journey performed to the place of residence after retirement?
A government servant completes its journey on 22-6-15 and T.A. bill for this
journey is submitted on 25-6-15. His grade pay is $7,600 and D.A. on the basis of
his grade pay is $300 per day for the destination place. He charges 900 as D.A.
for 3 days.
His grade pay is increased to 8,700 from 7,600 w.e.f. 18-4-15 under the
benefit of A.c.P. vide office order dated 1-7-15. The daily allowance on the basis
of grade pay 8,700 is 400 per day. In such case, how much amount will be
increased in revised T.A. bill
