Each question has two subdivisions.
1. Write a VB program to compute the surface area
and volume of a sphere for the given radius.

Create table ADDRESS with the following fields
like NAME, STREET, CITY and PIN. Do the
following in Oracle
Add 5 records
Add the field DISTRICT
Change the PIN to 630003 where city is
KARAIKUDI and PIN is 623003.

2. Write a VB program that allows the user choice
among four arithmetic operations of addition,
subtraction, multiplication and division with two
given numbers.
Create table BLOOD to have all relevant
information about the donors of the blood. Perform
the following
Display the information of donors in the age
group from 20 to 25.
Display all records
Display the information of donors whose blood
group is B+.
3. Write a VB program to display the Day of the given
Date and convert Upper Case from Lower Case for
the given word.
Create table LABEL with NAME, STREET, CITY
and PIN fields. Perform the following in Oracle.
Display the ascending order sorted list with
NAME as primary key
Display the descending order sorted list with
CITY as primary key
Display the contents with appropriate
HEADINGS.

4. Write a VB program to read principal, number of
years and rate of interest through input boxes.
Compute and print the simple interest and
compound interest through labels.
Create table MARK with REGNO, NAME, TAMIL,
ENGLISH, MATHS, BIOLOGY fields. Do the
following in Oracle
Add 5 records
Display the sum of TAMIL and BIOLOGY
marks
Display only NAME, REGNO and MATHS
fields.
5. Write a VB program to select candidates for four
posts based on their qualifications.

Female Graduate and Typing Steno
Create table RESULT with REGNO, NAME and
marks in three different subjects, TOTAL and
RESULT. Perform the following in Oracle

6. Write a VB program to do temperature conversion
from C to F and from F to C at user's choice using
Label, Text and Enter key.
Create table PAY with the following fields EMPNO,
NAME, DOJ, BPAY, DA, HRA, DEDU, GPAY and
NPAY.
Fill DA with 70% of BPAY for all employees
Fill DEDU with 700 for all employees
Fill GPAY BPAY DA HRA.
7. Write a VB program to display the Day of the given
Date and convert Upper Case from Lower Case for
the given word.
Create table BIODATA with necessary fields.
Display all records of MALE employees.
Delete all B.Sc. degree holders and then
display the table contents.
Display all contents having AGE <20 and
CITY is TRICHY.
8. Write a VB program to compute and print either
SUM or the PRODUCT of the first N natural
numbers.
Create table PERSONAL with necessary fields and
perform the following
Add 5 records
Display all names without duplicates.
Display all names in uppercase, lowercase and
Initial Capital letters.
