Time Three hours Maximum 100 marks
One question is given to each candidate by lot system.
Each question has two subdivisions.
1. Write a program to find the sum and average of
given set of marks.
Create a worksheet in MS-Excel with following
fields: REGNO, NAME, MATHS, ENGLISH,
SCIENCE and TOTAL. Perform the following:
Fill the TOTAL column
Filter the candidate whose NAME
Filter the candidate whose ENGLISH> 60 and
TAMIL> 70.
2. Write a program to display the given set of
numbers in ascending order.
Using MS-WORD type out the Title page of your
OFFICE AUTOMATION book. Format the Title
page by the following formatting features:

3. Write a program to illustrate addition,
subtraction, multiplication and division using a

4. Write a program to read and display the
students particulars such as Regno, name, age, sex
using class and objects.
Create table SALES with the following fields:
NAME, SEX, SALESCODE and SALE AMOUNT
and perform the following:
Display the records for SALE AMOUNT> 5000
and SEX
Display the record for SALE AMOUNT
between 5000 and 6000.
SORT the table in the descending order of
SALE AMOUNT.

5. Write a program to read salesman's name,
products sold and find the commission based on the
following conditions:
SALES COMMISSION
Below Rs. 10000/- No commission
10001-15000 of sales above 10000
15001-20000 250+7.5% of sales above
Above 20000 625+10% of sales above
20000
The output should contain name of the salesman,
products sold and the commission amount.
Using MS-WORD type a CIRCULAR LETTER to be
posted to PGDCA candidates to attend Personal
Contact Programme (PCP). Format the circular
letter as it is and apply the suitable Font type and
Font size.
6. Write a program to create a class of objects e1,
e2. The contents of object e1 are added to the object
e2 using operator overloading function.
Create table ADDRESS using MS-ACCESS with the
following fields: NAME, AGE, SEX, STREET, CITY
and PIN. Perform the following:
Display the fields NAME, STREET alone on
the screen.
Display all records for AGE 20.
Display the records for AGE> 20 and CITY
'KARAIKUDI'.

7. Write a program to convert the given
temperature in Celsius/Fahrenheit to Fahrenheit!
Celsius using the formula with options for C to F
and F to C.

BOOK NO, TITLE, AUTHOR, PRICE, PUBLISHER
and BRANCH. Perform the following in
MS-ACCESS.

AUTOMATION' and AUTHOR like

555101 and BRANCH
SORT the table in the ascending order of
BOOK NO.
8. Write a program to find the square of a given
number with different arguments using function
overloading.
Create table SALES with the following fields:
NAME, SEX, SALESCODE and SALE AMOUNT
and perform the following:
Display the records for SALE AMOUNT> 5000
and SEX
Display the record for SALE AMOUNT
between 5000 and 6000.
SORT the table in the descending order of
SALE AMOUNT.
