UNIT I
1. Explain the concept of Cascading Style Sheets and its properties with examples.
Write a HTML program to create online ticket reservation web page by using Cascading Style
Sheets.
2. List the methods associated with array object in Javascript and explain each with an example.
Write a java script that inputs three integers from the user and display sum, average, product,
smallest and largest of these numbers in an alert dialog box.
UNIT II
3. Explain the following terms related to DTD.

ii) Attributes and Entities
Give the syntax of an XML document and explain how a basic XML document is created with
an example? Justify XML is a "Meta Language".
4. Define the Document Type Definition in XML. What is difference between Internal and
External DTD?
Design an XML schema for hospital information management system.

5. What is servlet? Explain life cycle of servlet.
Write the categories of JSP tags. What Explain about Implicit JSP objects with example.
6. List the objects associated with JSP and highlight the features of each object.
Explain how HTTP post request is processed using servlets with example.

7. What are the differences between GET and POST methods in form submitting. When are GET
and POST methods used in web applications?
Write a PHP Code to determine whether a given number is an palindrome number or not.
8. List the statements that are used to connect PHP with MySQL.
Write the PHP code to validate the form consisting of a username, password and email fields.
UNIT V
9. Explain how the resultset of Mysql is handled in PHP with an example.
Write a PHP Code to user validation web application, where the user submits the login name
and password to the server. The name and password checked against the data already available
in database and if data matches, a successful login page is returned. Otherwise a fail message is
shown to the user.
10. What are the components of MVC architecture in PHP? Explain its architecture with the help
of neat sketch.
Describe the integration of PHP and AJAX with an example.
